Just wanted to pop in and say hello! We made it to Kentucky safe and sound and we've been having a blast.

Kentucky Bound

This morning I'm finishing up packing, cleaning up the house and getting things in order to leave for Kentucky this afternoon. We can't wait to spend two weeks with family going to the local coffee shop, riding bikes, drinking lemonade on the porch, thrifting, camping, fishing and even going to Dollywood!

It's going to be so much fun but wish us luck with traveling with Rowan.. she was a great traveler last summer but she's grown up quite a bit since then and I just hope we can keep her entertained on our flights!

The 86 List/GBH Show

Saturday night I got to watch Derek's band and a British punk band called GBH play and it was such a fun night! I never get to go to shows anymore and it brought back a lot of memories. I miss playing music live so bad! Gotta hurry up and finish this album so I can get back in the game, even if it's only every once in a while..

This Weekend

Hey folks!

We just got home last night from the other side of the island, where we were watching our niece and nephews for the past three days and let me tell ya, it's good to be home! Those kids put me through the ringer... 

This three day weekend is for sleeping in, going to see Derek and his band play for the first time in about a year (yay babysitter!/date night!), lots of coffee, finishing household to-do lists, recording and bike riding. Any more than that and my head might explode after all of the excitement I had this week..

Our Sunday

Two friends visiting from out of town, pizza, polka dot bikinis, riding the ocean waves on our floats and lots of laughs. I love when we can get a big group of us together all at once.. the more the merrier!
