After stumbling across these watercolor prints on Etsy about a week ago, we decided we're going to be woodland creatures for Halloween this year!
Our little birdie will be an owl, I'll be a doe and D's either going to be a fox or a lumberjack.
I bought Rowan's costume but I'm making mine and if D's a fox, I'll be making his too. Obviously it'll be easy for D to find stuff to be a lumberjack if he decides to be that instead.
Last year, Rowan was so little and we waited until the last minute before finally deciding on superhero costumes (that my mom made for us) because they were easy and lightweight for Ro. That's why I'm extra excited about our costumes this year because it's something I really love and will be prepared for.
It's also going to be more fun because Rowan will be walking like a pro by the time Halloween rolls around and I CANNOT wait to take her trick or treating for the first time!
I love Halloween so much..
What are you going to be this year?
❤

Awwww! Those picturse are going to be SOOO CUUUUUTE! I can't wait to see :)

ReplyDeleteMy Husband is going to be a gorilla and then me and the babe are gonna be banana's... :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are huge foodies and gardeners and our little guy's name is Gus so I kind of can't resist making him an asparaGUS. Maybe we'll be farmers? Ha, all I know is that I'm dreaming up a multi green spiky felt crown and it's going to be killer!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the owl costume at Pottery Barn? Sooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo cute, cant wait to see pics. We dont celebrate Halloween here in Australia but my son was born last year on Halloween so it will always remain special to me : )
ReplyDeleteI have seen some really cool owl costume tutorials around the internet. Do a quick google search and you will find heaps. I can't wait to see how your costumes look. I love halloween but it isn't that big here in Australia.

ReplyDeleteas for me, no clue! and for the man, edward scissorhands (hopefully) haha i'm so excited!
Cute! I'm excited for Halloween already! Even though I'm going to be a bit lazy and just be a cat this year with my cat print dress haha. But I want to go to a haunted house, yes!
ReplyDeleteLast year Halloween photos with Rowan flying made me d'awww~ <3
Oh, you will be so cute! I can't decide what to do for Halloween - I change my mind everyday! Just found your lovely blog :)
ReplyDeleteAdoreable idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm in a new phase where I can't dress as a naughty "everything," right!? Naught pirate, naughty angel, etc...so ridiculous...but I'm not ready to 100% mom it in and be Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba {LOL!}...I am so lost. Maybe I'll be a zombie - I've got the comatose stare, dark circles and pasty skin that most twin moms have at this baby stage - I think not showering one day and POOF - I'm a zombie.
ReplyDeletei love it! and...that's jess' birthday party theme. woodland animals: bunnies, owls, fox, dear, trees, mushrooms.
ReplyDeletei gotta ask. is it the pottery barn owl costume? that's what i want jess to be but the hubby is REALLY pushing for princess leia.
Liz (yellow finch designs): no i got her owl costume from some random online shop ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the pics :)
