Yesterday was the best day ever. Not only was D finally off of work (after working almost 9 days straight)but my Valentine's present came! It was a week late because the shipping days got confused and D didn't realize that they'd have to build it before sending it. Even so, it was well worth the wait and a huge, exciting surprise!
Here's a look into our Monday:
We had breakfast on the balcony.
I gave D a much needed hair cut!
Then he shaved... and he looks 10 years younger!
Then papa and baby played.
Then played some more.. and we went outside for a while.
Rowan stared at her feet and hands. "Hey! I control those things!?"
Then FedEx delivered my Valentine's present!!!!
OH MY GOODNESS!
I started playing with my new toy right away..
... while D and Ro napped.
Then I fed and played with little miss Rowan while she tried to eat her toes...
.. and gave her a bath...
.. while Papa cooked dinner!
After I put Ro down for the night, I had dinner and a mini happy hour with my main squeeze.

I don't know if this only started after I had my child, but when I see a Dad and Baby together in sweet moments it always brings a tear to my eye. Great post, much respect to the real Dads and Husbands.
